Aviation Fire Pty Ltd is a specialised consultancy company which provides knowledge and expertise in the provision of Aviation Rescue and Fire Services (ARFS) at international, domestic, mine site and military airports.  Aviation Fire will assist your airport or organisation to achieve International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) compliance or will work with your company to provide a risk based solution to the ARFS requirements at your aerodrome.

Aviation Fire Pty Ltd will provide tailored compliance packages matched to available resources for ICAO member airports and will use a risk based approach toward the achievement of practical and safe Aviation Rescue and Fire Services at countries’ domestic airports, mine site aerodromes and military air bases (including joint user bases).

Aviation Fire Pty Ltd will work closely with other consultancy companies engaged in Airport-wide services or aviation fire service specific work to add value to their product.

People

The Managing Director of Aviation Fire Pty Ltd is the former Assistant Chief Fire Officer / Operations and Compliance Manager, Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF), in Airservices Australia’s Head Office in Canberra.

He has over 32 years experience with ARFF operations in Australia, has completed project work overseas and has provided subject matter expertise for significant overseas contract tenders. He has served as a professional fire fighter, fire officer and manager at numerous locations throughout Australia, from Category 2 through to Category 9 ARFF operations. He has operated at all levels of ARFF service delivery and management. He also spent six years setting up and operating the Townsville International Airport/Air Force Base Townsville ARFF, where he managed all aspects of finance, operations, personnel, maintenance, training and defence contract delivery.  In his previous position as Assistant Chief Fire Officer / Operations and Compliance Manager, he provided high level support and advice to the Chief Fire Officer, ARFF and coordinated ARFF operations throughout Australia.
